Select the unit you wish from file menu and wait until communication goes up. When connection will be active the text fields will display the information id of selected unit. During connection it is not allowed to try to connect other units, it is instead possible to abort conection attempt pressing "File-Disconnect" option. If connection attempt timeout and maximum number of retry exceed the program will display following message "Unit --- not connected". By means of the menu setup-serial it is possible to modify some parameters that could create difficulty during connection process.

With unit connected you could read list of fault code detected by the unit. Button "Fault" displays list of the fault code recorded since last code list reset. Button "Reset" deletes the entire list. "Save" button will save the list of fault code found on a text file. String "No fault code" does indicate that no fault code has been found.

This option allows you to read digital and analog measures from the unit. The program diplays groups of four measurements, it is possible to select the group tapping on the keys arrow (Up increases - down decreases). Tapping slow/fast diciture it is possible to increase or decrease step rate of the up/down buttons: slow step 1 unit, fast step 10 unit. Moreover you could display a short description of measure tapping on the measurement unit text. The refresh time of data depends on reading rate from the unit. This option allows you to read one measure from the unit. The program displays a measure, it is possible to select measure wished pressing on the keys arrow (Up increases - down decreases). Moreover it is possible to increase or decrease the step of up/down button tapping on the slow/fast diciture: slow step 1 unit, fast step 10 unit. This option allows to set up some characteristic values of the joined one '. By means of the keys arrow it is possible to select the number of wished channel (up increases - down decrease).Pressing on the slow/fast diciture it is possible to increase or decrease step rate of the up/down buttons: slow step 1 unit, fast step 10 unit. The form displays read value, its short description, and a field for the insertion of the new value. Selecting field, if it is not already active, it will be activated the virtual keyboard. Pushing button "Test", after insertion of new value allows to verify if inserted value is compatible with what unit want, in positive case push-button "Set" becomes enabled and push that button will store value to the unit definitively . WARNING: the change of these values must be made with maximum shrewdness, because it could damage your engine. This option allows tou to set up the "Soft code" and the "Shop number". Fields displays running values that can be modified by select field and write new value. At selection time, if it is not already active, will be activated the virtual keyboard. The push-button "Submit" allows to finish the operation sending values to unit in definitive way. WARNING: the change of these values must be made with maximum shrewdness, because it could damage your car. This option allows to unlock unit for several maintenance operation. Insert a valid code in Login text box and confirm it with "Submit" button. Valid Login codes can be found in the Workshop manual for your car.

This option allows to set basic state of some entities controlled by the unit. Program displays four measures as in "Group reading" funtion, but during measure reading the unit perform entity calibration. Up and Down button allows to change measurement group as in "Group reading" funtion. Please refer workshop manual for your car before using this function.

This section allows to modify some general purpose parameters.

This folder allows to modify chromatic aspect of the program. To choose a color tap on little colored square you wish then select new color on choose color window, terminate operation pressing "OK" button. Button "Save" allows to save the running setup on file, the button "Read", otherwise, allows to load setup from file.

This folder allows to modify setup of serial communication. These parameters are important during connection. Modify it in case of effective necessity due to difficulty of logon or unstable communication.

Configuration file Menu.txt allows to create your prefered list of connectable controller. In controller section you must specify controller name and controller address, valid address code could be found on your workshop manual. You could define up to 10 controllers, each controller name will be displayed and could be selectable in file menu.

Shortcut windows contains buttons for data recording and playing. During connection you could capture displayed data and save it in to file that you could view in offline mode with "Display Graph" menu option. When you decide to save data, the system diplays a file name choice dialog where you could specify file name and folder. Default file name is a concatenation of shortcut name and timestamp.

Advanced features are enabled only for registered users. The "Registration" form allows to insert registration key that enable all advanced features. Currently it is not possible register the program, because author has not still decided which will be the future developments, all depends on the type of interest and feedback that he will obtain.
