VAG-Check

RadioPlayer

Car ECUs communicates using various baud rate (i.e 9600, 4800, 10472). The Pocket PC serial ports driver doesn't support "not-standard" baudrate (i.e. 10472), so VAG-Check set the serial speed without using the system driver. Running at "not-standard" baudrate depends on hardware type and for that reason isn't guaranteed that it always work. Tests have been made using Jornada 5XX (SH3), Ipaq 38XX (ARM SA1110 processor) and Dell Axim X5 (PXA250 processor), other hardware should works! A running report on other hardware will be very appreciate.

From Version 1.1.1 VAG-Check supports Serial Compact Flash Adapter by Socket, it is another opportunities of connection for PDA that doesn't support native Serial connection but it have a Compact Flash slot!

The sofware has been tested and ARlab received many positive feedback, but ARlab cannot guarantee it will work on every Pocket PCs and cars. ARlab will make best effort to fix any bugs and to enhance the program, but could not guarantee prompt fix.

IMPORTANT: If you use Dell Axim and Jeff's interface it doesn't work because serial interface on Axim needs external power on DTR pin(4) (Axim side) or DSR pin(6) (interface side) , please try with another interface or modify your interface! A collection of Axim infos and some modification proposals can be found at this page.
From version 1.1.1 you could purchase a Socket Serial CF adapter that doesn't need null-modem and external power.
